The competition takes place from 2nd to 8th of September in Rio de Janeiro
Only 3 weeks left until the first Rio 2024 FISU World University Championship! Until now, 34 countries have confirmed.
The countries are Algeria, Argentina, Australia, Austria, Brazil, Canada, Chile, China, Colombia, Costa Rica, Croatia, Czech Republic, France, Great Britain, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Kosovo, Saudi Arabia, Lithuania, New Zealand, Oman, Paraguay, Peru, Poland, Portugal, Porto Rico, Slovenia, Serbia, Switzerland, Slovakia, Uruguay and United States.
The competition will feature four sports: beach hand, beach soccer, beach wrestling and beach volleyball. The venue is at Botafogo Beach, with a beautiful view of the Sugar Loaf.
There will be also an Athlete’s Boulevard, a facility where they can relax before and after the games.
