After a week of competition on the sands of Rio de Janeiro, the FISU Beach Sports Championship has come to a close. Approximately one thousand participants from 34 countries competed in four sports to become the first Beach Sporsts World Champions.

The home team shone brightly, securing the top spot on the podium with 6 golds, 3 silvers, and 4 bronzes. The second place went to Argentina, with 2 golds and 2 bronzes, while Germany took third place with 2 golds and 1 bronze.

To close the event on a high note, medals were awarded, and then there was plenty of music for athletes to enjoy the celebration and socialize on the boulevard.
