Beach Volleyball

Beach Volleyball at the RIO 2024 FISU Championship Beach Sports will take place from 03 to 07 September, 2024 at Botafogo Beach.

The Beach Volleyball tournament shall be organised in accordance with the most recent technical
regulations of the “Fédération Internationale de Volley-ball” (FIVB). In any dispute the English text
shall be regarded as authoritative.

The programme and duration of competitions are fixed by FISU in agreement with the Organising
Committee and the Championships ITC. The competitions shall last five days and include:

• One men’s tournament: a maximum of 32 teams
• One women’s tournament: a maximum of 32 teams
