ACCOMMODATION
All delegations will be accommodated in hotels at Botafogo and Leme Beaches.
The Organizing Committee (OC) will guarantee accommodation for all participants approved at the FISU OAS System by the end of the Individual Entry Form submission stage.
The official period of stay in the city of Rio de Janeiro starts on the 30th of August, at 02:00 PM, and finishes on the 10th of September, at 12:00 PM.
The length of stay of each participant will be calculated according to the arrival and departure information available in the FISU OAS Travel Form. In case of different check-in and/or check-out dates, the actual period of stay should be informed to the OC with no less than 30 days before the beginning of the event.
For each participant, including extra officials, the Participation Fee per person per night is 80 EUR.
Additional reservations should be requested in advance to the OC and will be subject of availability.
Participation delegations will be accommodated in the following Hotels:
- IBIS BUDGET BOTAFOGO;
IBIS STYLES BOTAFOGO;
WINDSOR PLAZA;
WINDSOR LEME;
NOVOTEL BOTAFOGO;
REGENCY PARK.
The driving distance from OC headquarters and Hotels:
- BOTAFOGO BEACH: 3.3 KM (APPROX. 10 MIN);
GIG AIRPORT: 27.2 KM (APPROX. 60 MIN);
SDU AIRPORT: 9.6 KM (APPROX. 20 MIN);
NOVO RIO BUS TERMINAL: 11.4 KM (APPROX. 40 MIN).
CANCELLATION POLICY
A full refund of the Participation Fee will be made for cancellations informed until 30 days before the beginning of the competition.
In case there is any no-show or cancellation/amendment of the delegation, in part or full, within 30 days or less from the beginning of the competition, 100% of the Participation Fee will be charged.
Special cases such as injury, visas denied, flight cancellation/delay and others should be immediately informed to the OC, which will take all possible measures to minimize eventual losses.
