PROTOCOL AND CEREMONIES

OPENING CEREMONY

The Opening Ceremony is scheduled for the 2nd of September, 2024, and will display elements of the Brazilian and Carioca cultures.

MEDAL CEREMONIES

Medal ceremonies will take place at the competition venue, shortly after the end of the competition.
Medals awarded to the first three athletes/teams in all competitions. For team sports, a maximum of three officials will also be awarded with medals.
