The Event
The first edition of the FISU World University Championship Beach Sports will take place from the 2 nd to 8 th of September, 2024 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Almost 3,000 people will be accredited and the expectation is to
welcome people from 50 countries. Beach volleyball, beach soccer, beach handball, beach wrestling, beach
tennis, and surfing are part of the sports schedule.
GENERAL SCHEDULE
The general schedule of the 2024 FISU World University Championship Beach Sports encompasses delegations’ arrival and departure dates, opening and closing ceremonies, general and specific technical meetings, as well as the competition program of each sport.
SPORTS AND DISCIPLINES
During the 6 days of competition, a total of 21 disciplines in 6 different sports will be featured at the 2024 FISU World University Championship Beach Sports.
DELEGATION QUANTITATIVE
All National University Sport Federations (NUSFs) will be allowed to take part in the 2024 FISU World University Championship Beach Sports with up to 153 delegation members. You can find below more details about the number of athletes and officials.
